First Holy Communion:

Next Mass for Do This In Memory will be on Sunday May 5th @11.30a.m. Preparation meeting will take place on Tuesday April 30th @ 8p.m. in the Church. First Holy Communion Mass Books are now available in the Parish shop and Rosary beads, gift sets etc. First Holy Communion and Confirmation cards are also available.

Every Monday from 9.30a.m. to 12 noon.
Every Thursday from 7.00a.m. to 10 p.m.

Easter in Rush:

Thanks to all who worked to make our Parish celebrations of the Easter Season so special and memorable. Thanks to Ministers of the Eucharist, Readers, Servers, Collectors , Counters, Sacristans, Cleaners, Church Decorators, Florists and Altar Linen.

The beautiful music was provided by Rush Church Choir and Organist, the Parish Folk Group, the Youth Choir, Rinceoil & Children’s Liturgy Group. To those who co-ordinated the Penitential Service and the Stations of the Cross.

Thank you to one and all, including those who work quietly and unseen in the background. They gave of their time, talents and service so generously to make it a wonderful Parish celebration of the Resurrection of Christ. Thank You and Well done to all!


Easter Dues & Offerings:

Thanks to all who have contributed their Easter Due & Offering so far. The Easter Donations continue to be received in the coming weeks and we encourage each household to support our Parish by making their Easter donation.


Trócaire Boxes:

Kindly return your box and/or contribution to the office or sacristy over the coming weeks. Thank you to all who have supported the Trócaire Lenten Campaign this year.


St. Maur’s Youth Choir:

The Choir recently received a cheque from the Tesco Community Fund and would like to extend their thanks to Barbara, the management and staff of Tesco and to all who supported them by inserting the blue tokens in the Choir’s box.


Alliance of the Two Hearts:

Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary takes place on Friday 3rd May commencing with Mass of the Sacred Heart at 8pm, Exposition, Midnight Mass and Exposition until 3am. Please
join us for all or part of the Vigil

St. Vincent De Paul (SVP) Clothing Appeal:

SVP are seeking your help in its Annual Clothing Appeal in the Parish. Distribution of Bags will take place on weekend 11 th /12 th May: Collection of bags the following weekend 18 th /19 th May.

Rush Horticultural Society:

The Society are holding the Annual Plant Sale on Saturday 4th May outside the Rush Community Centre and this will be a fundraiser for this year’s
annual show.
