The Julian Group The Julian Group will discuss the “Our Father”; How to pray. ( Matthew 6; verses 5-15) when they meet the Confirmation classes on Tuesday October 23rd.


November Mass of Remembrance: Every year during November the parish community prays a special mass in which we remember all our loved ones who have died since this time last year. The mass will take place on Saturday 3rd November at 7pm. Refreshments will be served after mass. While Special Invitations will be issued shortly to each family of course all are welcome to attend.


November List of the Dead Envelopes: are available at the back of the Church. Please take one home with you, enclose your family dead list and return to the Post Box, Sacristy or Parish Office. All the names are included in all Masses on the First Friday throughout the year. “It is a Holy and Wholesome Thought to pray for the Dead.”

Today is World Mission Sunday! Today we come together for a truly incredible celebration of solidarity and unity within our Church. Today, through your prayers and contributions, you are fully appreciating the dedication of missionaries who live and work in communities that are struggling and often war-torn. Thank you so much for your kindness.


Drop in silent Christian Meditation continues in the Emmaus Retreat Centre, Swords each Monday (Except bank holidays)  from 11am until 12pm. All welcome. Donations kindly accepted.

RUSH COMMUNITY NEWS: For over 30 years Rush Community News has given us news of events in our village together with a great collection of photos. To preserve and keep this information for future generations we want to put together a collection of The Community News in book format in both the Library and Community Centre for everyone to read.  Do you have any copies in your house from any year? If so please drop into Rush Community Centre.


Rush Community Council will hold their AGM on 21st November @ 8pm.All new committee members must complete an application form & return to Rush Community Centre on or before the 7th November. Forms are available from Rush community Centre.
