Meals on Wheels Drivers: We are looking for volunteer drivers for one hour per day, possibly two days a month. If you can help please call to the Community Centre, Main Street between midday and 12.30 any day Monday to Friday or call 087 9344019.
Standby me Weekend Dinners for the Elderly: Standbyme would like to offer nutritious, organic, well portioned dinners to our local senior citizens at weekends. Let’s Talk Family! Let’s Be Family: We are running 6 sessions on Let’s Talk Family. Using engaging short videos to encourage discussion, it will offer us a time to think about our vision and hopes for family and marriage, and a chance to rediscover the gift that family is to the world. The programme will also challenge us to reflect on how we can provide greater support for marriage and family in our local communities. Who should attend? If you have a child preparing for a sacrament (baptism, communion, and confirmation) it’s for you! Fifth session on Wednesday 11th April at 7:30pm in Day chapel.
We ask all those who have used the Trocaire Lenten Box over the past weeks to kindly return your box and/or contribution to the office or sacristy over the coming weeks. We will forward the combined contributions of our parishes to Trocaire as soon as possible in order to help in their work for justice throughout the world and to support their efforts to help communities most in need at this time.
