Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday this year falls on 14th February. It is a day of fasting and abstinence. Masses with distribution of Ashes at 9am and 7pm on Wednesday 14th February.
Baptism:
We welcome Arabella Marie Nicol who was baptised at the weekend.
First Confessions:
We remember the children of St. Catherine’s N.S and the Gael Scoil who are making their First Confession on Monday 12th February and the children from Rush N.S who will confess on Tuesday 13th February. May God Bless the children as they receive the gift of his loving forgiveness.
First Holy Communion, Do This In Memory:
We welcome the boys and girls preparing for First Holy Communion to 11.30a.m Mass this weekend.
Confirmation:
We welcome the 6th class children from the Parish Schools who are presenting their application and commitment certs at mass this Saturday at 7p.m. We congratulate them as they become candidates for the Sacrament of the Holy Spirit this year. We ask God to Bless them, their families and The Julian Group as they prepare for this special occasion in their young lives.
Family Mass Children’s liturgy group
The children’s liturgy group will start again for the Lenten season on Sunday 18th February at the 11:30a.m family mass. All children and their parents welcome to this child friendly service in the day chapel . New volunteers also required – if you are interested please come along.

World Day Of The Sick 2018
The 26th anniversary celebrations of World Day of the Sick will take place today Sunday 11th February 2018. The Mass of Healing and Anointing of the Sick will be celebrated at St Agnes’ Parish Church, Crumlin, Dublin 12 on Sunday 11th February at 3.00pm. Main Celebrant: Archbishop Diarmuid Martin. All are welcome.
Defibrillator:
There is now an AED located in the porch of the Church. We are pleased to now have this potentially lifesaving equipment on the premises. Please familiarise yourself with the location of the Defibrillator. The door of this storage box should only be opened in case of a medical emergency. Volunteers have been trained to use this equipment. Thank you to Ian McNamara from First Aid Systems for donating the storage box.
Annual Collection of Accord:
The Diocesan Agency for Marriage and the Family, will be made at all Masses on the weekend of 17th & 18th February 2018. The collection for ACCORD will replace the usual Share Collection. ACCORD Dublin throughout the diocese offers: Marriage Preparation Courses, Counselling for couples and individuals experiencing difficulties in their relationships, a relationship and sexuality programme for schools. ACCORD Dublin needs your support. Please give generously om 17th and 18th February.
