St. Maur’s G.A.A:

The Annual Mass for the deceased members of the club will be held in Aras Naomh Maur on Thursday 3rd August at 8 p.m.

Rush Harbour Festival:

The Rush Harbour Festival takes place next weekend from August 4th to August 7th in the Harbour Park. We have an event for everyone. FREE Children’s shows, FREE Circus Workshop, FREE Samba Workshop and FREE Sand Sculpting classes. For the first time, an international sand sculptor comes to Rush and he will create his masterpiece on the green opposite the harbour park from Monday and finish on the Saturday of the festival.  The music stage will be surrounded by food stalls, so come along over the weekend and enjoy the atmosphere.  Saturday sees the Air Show take to the skies courtesy of Dermot McNamara.  A FREE shuttle train runs from EUROSPAR to the Harbour Park from Saturday until Monday. Oasis, Garth Brooks, Smash Hits and our very own STAGE 2 will entertain you all weekend.

Bring All the Family! 21st August 2017 – One Year to World Meeting of Families 2018:

We invite you and all your family to come along to the launch of the one-year programme of preparation for World Meeting of Families 2018, which will take place at the Knock Shrine, County Mayo, on Monday 21st August 2017, the Anniversary of the Apparition of Our Lady. This day of celebration will include the celebration of the Eucharist, workshops and faith and fun activities for all the family. The WMOF2018 Icon will be presented at Mass in the Basilica at 3 pm and then begin its journey around the Dioceses of Ireland.

Music Ministry Together:

Summer school for anyone interested in liturgy and music takes place from Tue 8th to Sun 13th August – Cistercian College, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, including teaching sessions, workshops/master classes, various styles of Liturgy, a celebration of the Eucharist, Sacraments and Catechises. Finally, there will also be time to have fun, with organised activities and entertainment through the week. Come for as much or as little as you like. The Annual Youth2000 Summer Festival:

The Festival takes place from Thurs 17th to Sun 20th August at the Cistercian College, Roscrea – Open to all aged 16-35. Excellent Speakers, Inspiring Talks & Workshops, Fantastic music, Group activities, Youth Masses, Adoration, Reconciliation, Prayer, Drama, Games & plenty of time to chill out, meet new people and find out what it means to be young & Catholic today!!
