Fatima Centenary 1917-2017:

This weekend Pope Francis visited the Marian Shrine at Fatima where Our Blessed Lady appeared to three shepherd children 100 years ago. Two of the visionaries, Jacinta and Francisco Marto were canonised there on this special occasion. Both Jacinta and Francisco died very young, as foretold by Our Lady. Sr Lucilla the third visionary lived a long life and promoted devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and her cause is still under consideration. This decision by Pope Francis is inspired by his belief in the holiness of children and they are now the youngest canonised saints. Saint Jacinta and Francisco pray for us and especially for all the children of Our Parish!

Our local celebration will take place after 7p.m. Mass this Saturday May 13th . There will be Rosary and Benediction after mass. Everybody Welcome.
