Blessing for the Summer Holidays

Take time to claim your strength, this is a gift from God.
Take time to have fun, it is God’s way of teaching you your strengths.
Take time to grow yourself, only you can grow you.
Take time to trust yourself, God trusts you.
Take time to be self-reliant, it is better that being dependent.
Take time to share with others, they will bless you and you will bless them.
Take time to have hope, you are a child of God.

wyd-top-desktop
This month World Youth Day takes place in Krakow. Pope Francis has invited young people to come to Krakow to celebrate their Faith. Under the Theme “Blessed are the Merciful, for they will receive Mercy” the young people can experience fun, reflections, celebration, music and prayer and much more. The diocese is bringing two groups to the World Youth Day, teenagers 16 – 18 years of age and the Young Adults over 18. Both groups are given the opportunity to experience the World Youth Day. Please take a look at the wall in the front porch and see the young people from our Youth Choir and St. Joseph’s Secondary School who will be representing our parish.
