St. Vincent De Paul Clothing Appeal
The Society is seeking your help with our annual appeal for second-hand clothing. The appeal is for clean, good quality clothes, bedclothes, curtains, shoes etc. There will be bags available outside the church on 30th April and 1st May.

World Youth Day Cake Sale
Our parish now have ten young people going to the World Youth celebrations in Krakow, Poland in July. Four pupils from St. Joseph’s Sec. School are joining with 6 members of our Parish Youth Choir. This is a great opportunity for them to deepen their faith and meet other committed young Catholics from all over the world. Our next parish effort to help with the costs is a cake sale after all Masses this weekend Apr.30th/May 1st. Please come and support. There will be tea/coffee and scrumptious cakes!!
Blessing of the Graves
Blessing of the Graves will take place in Whitestown Cemetery on Sunday 26th June at 3pm and Kenure Cemetery on Sunday 26th June at 6pm.
May Events in Rush Library

Irish Guide Dogs
The Balbriggan/North County Dublin branch of Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind are seeking volunteers to help sell their guide dog pins inside of Tesco’s of Rush on Friday 6th May and Saturday 7th May. Depending on how many volunteers we get we will go from 9.30am to 6.30pm or so. Any length of time you can give will be taken up. Irish Cancer Society
Irish Cancer Society: The Irish Cancer Society’s Volunteer Driver Service is currently seeking volunteer drivers to drive local patients to and from their chemotherapy treatments in our Dublin hospitals. We are looking for volunteers from all over north Co. Dublin to pick local patients up at their homes, drive them to the door of the hospital, pick them up again when they are finished their treatment and bring them home. Driver expenses are paid. A Terrible Beauty – Áille na hÁille
The first performance Dublin of Charlie Lennon’s Suite – Áille na hÁille commissioned by Gael Linn for the Centenary Commemoration of 1916 will take place in the Saint Mary’s Pro-Cathedral, Marlborough Street on Thursday 12th May 2016 at 7.30 p.m. This unique event will not only feature this newly composed work but will be accompanied by moving extracts from the accounts of priests who ministered in the streets of Dublin to the injured and the dying and to those who were executed in 1916.
