November Altar List
November Altar List of the dearly faithful departed is available from the porches of the church. Completed lists will be placed at the Cross on the Altar during the month of November. An offering enclosed with the completed list is kindly accepted.
Please leave completed lists in the Parish Office or collection baskets at Mass or in the Parish correspondence box in the main porch of the Church.
Month’s Mind Mass for Fr Cullen
The months mind mass for Fr. Cullen will take place in St Maur’s church on Saturday November 28th at 7p.m. Fr. Enda Cunningham will be celebrating Mass.
Parish Office and Parish Shop
The opening hours for the Parish Shop are from 9a.m. – 1p.m. Available to purchase include Rush Parish Christmas Cards at €1 each and signed Mass Christmas Cards also available; Advent Calendars, Scented Christmas candles, Snow globes, Children’s Bibles and many more gift items available.
In the Parish Office you can: Book an Anniversary Mass, Get a Mass card, Register for baptism preparation, Find out more about getting married in our Parish, Register for our weekly Planned Giving Envelopes, Order letters of Freedom, Baptism Certificates, Marriage Certificates, Make an appointment to see a member of the Parish Team.
Planned Giving Envelopes
Thanks to all who have returned the cards from the box of envelopes. Could we ask those who wish to remain anonymous to write this on the card and return it, as it’s required for control purposes. Please be advised that those who open and count the weekly envelopes do not have access to the names of subscribers. As the envelope collection is the only source of income to the parish, boxes will be available for new subscribers on the tables beside the missalettes.
The Planned Giving Envelope Collection for 15th November amounted to €1,475.00 .Thank you for your generosity
Baptisms
Baptisms for Sunday 13th and 27th December: Preparation meeting on Wednesday 9th December at 7.30 p.m. Deadline for applications is Monday 7th December. Please note that godparents/sponsors must be baptised Catholics and over 16 years of age. See the parish website for more information.
The Children’s Liturgy
Children’s Liturgy resumed last Sunday 8th November for Children aged 5 to 12 years. We would be delighted to see new children along with those who have attended previously. Parents are welcome to accompany their children if they wish. Any adults interested in becoming involved please contact the office or Sharon at 086 3884998. We would be delighted to see new faces.
Legion of Mary
The Legion of Mary Afternoon Retreat: Sunday 29th November, Spiritual Director: Fr John Harris. Venue: Emmaus Centre, Swords. Commencing 1.15pm, Cost €15.

Child Safeguarding and Protection
The Certificates of Attendance for those who attended the Training/Information day on Sat.Oct. 24th are now available for collection from the Parish Office.
Irish Guide Dogs
The North County Dublin Branch of the Irish Guide Dogs will be selling Christmas Cards, Key rings, 2016 calendars etc. at the upcoming Craft Fair in St. Maur’s GAA Club Sun. Nov. 29th

Rush, Lusk, Skerries Dyslexia Workshop
Rush, Lusk Skerries Dyslexia Workshop takes place every week at 5.30p.m. – 7.30pm in Rush & Lusk Educate Together National School. This workshop is run by degree level teachers with specialist training in Dyslexia for 2nd to 6th class pupils. Art Exhibitions
An Exhibition of Paintings by Jim Kilgarriff is open in Rush Library and runs until the Nov 28th. All welcome
Ros Eó Art Group are holding a Christmas Art Exhibition on Main Street Rush (beside Ocean Inn) from Nov. 20th – 30th 11a.m. to 5p.m. daily. The exhibition will feature a variety of themes, including scenes of local interest.
