Parish Eucharistic Adoration
We welcome John Howard to speak at all masses this weekend about Eucharistic adoration. We ask parishioners to reflect on the possibility of having adoration for a full day every week. Time cards will be distributed before mass and be collected after mass or by Monday. There is a meeting Monday night in the prayer room at 7.30 p.m. John will be giving more details at the masses.

Invitation for new Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) members
meeting of the PPC will take place on Monday evening. New members are needed to serve their parish.  Commitment involves attendance at a monthly meeting, commitment to on-going formation and development and a willingness to participate in various activities between meetings. We invite those who think they may be interested in joining the Pastoral Council to attend a “Come and See” day on Saturday 12th September (9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m , light lunch provided)– this will be a day for discernment, a day to ask “is this for me?” For further information please contact the parish office

Welcome Back to the Junior Folk Group who will resume their ministry at the 11.30 A.M on Sunday. The Junior Folk Group will be resuming shortly.

Welcome back to The Rush Parish Saturday Evening Choir who will begin rehearsals on Wed 9th & their ministry on Sat 12th September. New members welcome

Baptisms for Sunday 11th & 25th October
Preparation meeting on Wednesday 7th October at 7.30 p.m. Deadline for applications is Tuesday 6th October. Please note that godparents/sponsors must be baptised Catholics and over 16 years of age. See the parish website all information.

Radio Receivers
We are aware the home radio receivers are not functioning in some areas. We have contacted are main supplier and we are awaiting his reply. Thank you for patience.

Planned Giving Envelope Collection 30th August We would like to thank everyone who contributed last week to the planned giving envelopes.  You all contributed a total of €1,542 that will go towards your parish.

The Second Collection next Sunday 12th / 13th September is the annual collection for Crosscare.

There will be no Saturday morning mass @ 10. A.m on September 12th, 19th & 26th due to unavailability of clergy.

Colouring pages are available in the church on Sunday. Please bring your own crayons.

Scoil Rince Fingal Irish dancing classes resumes on Monday 7th September in Rush community centre. Beginners from 6pm-7pm. Seniors from 7pm-8pm. Guide Dogs for the Blind: If you can help with church gate collection 12th/13th September contact kola@iol.ie or 085 7663107. All moneys collected goes for the training of guide dogs for blind people or assistance dogs for a family that has a child with Autism World Youth Day (Krakow 2016) Information Night St. Paul’s Church, Arran Quay, Dublin 7 on Wed. 9th Sept. 7.30-9.00 pm.

Pathways is a two year one night a week course for adults who wish to explore their faith. It runs from Mid-September to May each year. The only requirement is an openness to listening to others and to participate. You can just come along and enjoy! The Cost is €400. Booking is now open. The programme begins this year in Clonliffe College on Thursday the 24th September 2015 (7.00 p.m – 9.30 p.m)
