Crosscare Annual Appeal

This weekend, Crosscare will hold its Annual Appeal for those most in need. This will replace the Share collection at all Masses. Crosscare delivers a wide range of homeless, youth, and food poverty support to people at various stages of poverty or marginalization.


Altar Servers

Boys and girls from 3rd class upwards are welcome to become altar servers in the parish.

Parish Bible Study Course

Starting Mon 23rd Sept.

A 10 week course on the Gospel of Luke in the New Testament on Mon mornings from 11.00am – 12.00 in the Church. The course will run from Mon 23rd Sept to Mon 2 Dec.

The first session will be an introduction to the Bible and New Testament for anyone who is new to Bible study or reading. The following 9 sessions will explore and discuss different themes found in the Gospel of Luke , focusing on the life and message, death and resurrection of Jesus, and how that can speak to us as Christians today.

There will also be an option to connect online by Zoom on Thurs evenings from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.

Visit the Relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis

Visit of the Relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis to City Quay Church – Tue 17th Sept 2024.

For the most part the day will facilitate a silent, prayerful and respectful atmosphere for the pilgrims who visit the church.

9.30am Arrival of the relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis on the old Liffey Ferry to the pontoon at the Seán O’Casey Bridge followed by procession to City Quay Church, D02 A090 (Weather permitting)

10.00am Welcome by Fr Alan and talk on Blessed Carlo by Fr. Marco OFM Cap. custodian of Blessed Carlo’s relics in Assisi.

12 noon Rosary – The Joyful Mysteries

1 pm Rosary – The Mysteries of Light

2 pm Rosary – The Sorrowful Mysteries

3 pm Rosary – The Glorious Mysteries

7 pm Mass and Blessing with Relic

8 pm Church Closes

Confessions available 12 noon – 2 pm and 3 – 5 pm
