First Holy Communion:
Congratulations to the girls and boys from St. Brendan’s & St. Catherine’s National Schools who made their First Holy Communion this weekend.
Best of luck to the boys and girls from Gaelscoil Ros Eo who will make their Communion next Saturday 18th May @ 11a.m. May God Bless them on their special day.

Ministry Sunday:
Next weekend, 18th/19th May, we will for the first time hold a new collection which will be called the Ministry Sunday Collection. This new annual collection will replace the Share Collection and will be devoted to support the building up of new forms of lay ministry in our parishes.
St. Vincent De Paul (SVP) Clothing Appeal:
SVP are seeking your help in its Annual Clothing Appeal in the Parish. Distribution of Bags will take place this weekend 11th /12th May: Collection of bags next weekend 18th /19th May.
Anam Cara North Dublin
The organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding a Parent Evening for bereaved parents on Wednesday 15th May @ 7:20p.m. in the Carnegie Court Hotel, Swords, Co. Dublin. This event is free and open to all Bereaved Parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent or not.
Parish Safeguarding & Protection:
On behalf of the Parish, we would like to thank Kevin Murray for his many years of voluntary service in the role of Child Safeguarding & Protection Officer. Kevin contributed immensely to the development and maintenance of Child Protection policies here in the parish, and supported others in training and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults.
We are delighted to now welcome Margaret Dobinson into the team, where she joins Anna O’Sullivan as Child Safeguarding & Protection Officer. Together, with the support of Fr Kevin and the Parish Council we hope to continue to work in this important area.
Training Course
A one day Child Protection & Safeguarding Training day will take place here in the Church on Saturday 15th June. Further details to follow.
