Best of luck to the boys and girls from Rush National School who will make their First Holy Communion next Saturday 25th May @ 11a.m. May God Bless them on their special day. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who called to the house, attended the funeral, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, everlasting gifts and flowers. We would like to thank Fr. Ministry Sunday: This weekend, we will for the first time hold a new collection which will be called the Ministry Sunday Collection. This new annual collection will replace the Share Collection and will be devoted to support the building up of new forms of lay ministry in our parishes. The work of spreading the Gospel of Jesus in our changing religious culture will require more lay men & women working in various ways alongside our priests at the heart of parish communities. This collection is about ensuring that we will have the people we need who will be to the fore in making out parishes vibrant Faith communities into the future.

 

Easter Dues & Offerings: Thanks to all who have contributed their Easter Due & Offering so far. The Easter Donations continue to be received in the coming weeks and we encourage each household to support our Parish by making their Easter donation.

 

Planned Giving for Sunday 5th May amounted to €1,175. Thank you for your generous support to the Parish.

Remembrance Service: A Little Lifetime Foundation (ALLF) will hold a Blessing of Remembrance in Glasnevin Cemetery at the Old Angels Memory Garden on Sunday 26 May at 3.00pm. This special Blessing of Remembrance is for all parents, family members and friends who lost a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, cot death or died shortly after birth. This invitation is for all families who have lost a baby – we hope you will find some comfort in coming together to remember your baby in a special way.
