Lord God

We put ourselves into Your hands and pray that you will bless us and our families during the wonderful months of summer.
May we all help make our home a place of relaxation, joy, love, peace and safety.
May we be generous and considerate, not thinking about ourselves, but helping others enjoy the blessings of summertime.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

World Youth Day

wyd-top-desktop
World Youth Day(WYD) was initiated in 1985 by Pope Saint John Paul II. His vision was to gather young people from every part of the world in one city every few years. He kept this appointment regularly with young Catholics to celebrate and learn more about their faith. WYD’s provide a moment for young people to experience God’s love & mercy in a very different way. We wish our 9 young people well as they head to WYD on July 28th . Gerard Gallagher (Pilgrimage Director) came to Rush to meet our young people this week.
