Rise and Shine Pilgrimage Trust

Church gate collection next weekend 16th/17th May. Rise and Shine is a volunteer led charity that brings around 400 children and young people with additional needs on a week long life changing holiday to Lourdes. Also week long holidays called Friendship Weeks at our holiday home in Galway during July and August.

Congratulations to the boys and girls from St. Brendan’s N.S and St. Catherine’s N.S who received the sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday from Bishop Paul Dempsey. Thank you to Bishop Dempsey for coming to the Parish to confer this special sacrament. Thank you to the teachers and staff of St. Brendan’s N.S and St. Catherine’s N.S, the Parents and The Julian Group who together prepared these young people. Thank you to all who decorated the Church and who worked in so many other ways to make it a special Parish Celebration. Rush Daffodil Day

Rush Daffodil Day 2026 takes place on Friday, March 20th, with the local committee organizing events to turn the town yellow and raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society. Activities include selling sustainable daffodil vases, coffee mornings, and support from local clubs like Rush Golf Club and St. Maurs GAA.

Easter Book of Remembrance

Envelopes are now available at the back of the Church for the Easter List.

Names of our loved ones who have gone before us will be written in a special book, which will be placed for display on the Altar steps throughout the season of Easter. These names will be remembered at all Masses over Easter.

Please complete and leave back to the Parish Office or place in the Church letter box.

Please note no individual names will be called out from the Altar on Easter Saturday or Easter Sunday.
