Crib Offerings

Crib Offerings will go to The Holy Family Maternity Hospital in the town of  Bethlehem, through the Order of Malta. The offering box will be there until the end of January.

Enrolment for the Parish Schools

Enrolment for Rush National School, St. Catherine’s National School and St. Brendan’s National School:  will take place fromMonday 6th January to Friday 17th January 2020 inclusive.  Pre-enrolment application forms will be available from the schools’ office between the hours of 09:30 and 14.30.

Christmas in Rush

Thanks to all who worked to make our Parish celebrations of the Christmas Season so special and memorable for the huge numbers who gathered in St. Maur’s over the Christmas period. Thanks to Ministers of the Eucharist, Readers, Servers, Collectors , Counters, Sacristans, Cleaners, Church Decorators and Florists, Altar Linen, those who erected the Crib,  Bird of Paradise,  Children’s Liturgy Group, Do This in Memory Group, the Scouts, Rush Church Choir, Organist, Parish Folk Group, Youth Choir, The choirs from all five schools, Friendly Voices & Rinceoil. Thank you also to Fr Clinton for his ministry over the Christmas period. Thank you to those created the slide shows  for the new screen which enhanced our Christmas Liturgies by displaying the words of hymns, scripture and prayer.  Thank you to one and all, including those who work quietly and unseen in the background. They gave of their time, talents and service so generously to make it a wonderful Parish celebration of Christmas. Well done!

The Parish Pastoral Council, on behalf of the Parishioners, convey their Deepest Gratitude to          Fr. Kevin for all the work and effort he put into our parish throughout 2019.  We are conscious of the fact that it is a huge burden for any one person, and he does an excellent job, which all of us sincerely appreciate. Thanks also to the Parish Staff Claire & Valerie (the secretaries), David & Vitalie (the Church ground’s committee) for all the work they do behind the scenes.

Anam Cara North Dublin

Anam Cara North Dublin, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding a Parent Evening for bereaved parents on Wednesday 15th  January at 7:20pm in the Carnegie Court Hotel, Swords, Co. Dublin. This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age their child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent or not.  Please contact us on info@anamcara.ie or 0852888888 for any queries.
