Planned Giving:
This weekend the Annual Financial Statement for the parish will be presented at all Masses and the 2020 Planned Giving envelopes will be distributed. We invite new families not currently contributing, to consider beginning their donation to the Parish in this coming year. This can be facilitated by the envelope collection or by standing order. We would be delighted to take your details as you leave the Church today or through the Parish Office.
Last Sunday’s Planned Giving realised €1,340. We sincerely Thank all who through the Family Offering contribute to the upkeep of the parish.
40 Years of Folk Music:
Today, St. Maur’s Parish Folk Group celebrates 40 years of Folk Music in our Parish at the 11.30a.m Mass. As they mark this special occasion we congratulate them as we give Thanks for all who have and continue to serve the parish in this Joyful Ministry of music and song.

Family Mass Children’s Liturgy Group
Family Mass Children’s Liturgy Group takes place each Sunday at the 11.30am Mass. All children and their parents are welcome to this child-friendly service in the Day Chapel.
‘Led by the Spirit’
The Confirmation candidates will continue with the Confirmation programme “Led by the Spirit” on Tues. 3rd December. This week the Julian Prayer Group will discuss Scripture Reading: Pentecost (Acts 2: verses 1-4).
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place in the Day Chapel:
- Every Monday from 9.30a.m. to 12 noon.
- Every Thursday from 7.00a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Every Friday from 9.30a.m. to 12 noon.
- Every Sunday of Advent from 2.00 – 5.00 p.m. All Welcome
New Projector and Loop System
We have installed a new projector to help enhance our Liturgy by displaying the words of hymns,scripture and prayers. We hope this will benefit all especially the young, as they are so immersed in a world of technology. If any parishioners are skilled in preparing presentations and visuals and would like to volunteer, please leave your details in the parish office.
Loop System
We have enhanced our Loop System to improve the quality of sound for parishioners with hearing aids.
Christmas Book of Remembrance
Envelopes will be available at the back of the Church for the Christmas List from next weekend. Please complete and leave back to the Parish Office or place in the Church Letter Box.
St. Vincent De Paul Christmas Appeal
Just once a year St Vincent De Paul have permission to hold a Church Collection, which replaces the usual Share Appeal. This collection takes place at all Masses next weekend Dec 7th /8th. A member of our local Rush SVDP Conference will speak at all Masses. We thank all the members of our local Conference for all the work they do throughout the year on our behalf. Thanks to all for your ongoing generosity to this worthy cause.

Dates for Diary during Advent
The Combined Choirs Carol Service will take place in the Church on Wednesday December 11th @ 7.30p.m. Parishioners are invited to bring along a gift for those in need which will be distributed through St. Vincent De Paul. All Welcome.

The Parish office now has a beautiful selection of Christmas Mass Bouquet Cards in stock. If you are interested please drop in to see them. A Triduum of Masses will be offered during the Christmas Season for the intentions of all whose names are included.

Rush Senior Citizens Christmas Party

Loughshinny Christmas Fair & Tree Lights
Sunday 8th December , Christmas Fair will take place in the Community Centre from 10a.m. to 6p.m. Christmas tree light’s will be switched on at 4p.m.
