Mass of Remembrance:

Every year during November the Parish Community prays a special Mass in which we remember all our loved ones who have died since this time last year. The Mass will take place on Saturday 2nd November at 7p.m. Refreshments will be served after Mass. While Special Invitations are in the process of being issued to each bereaved family, of course all parishioners are welcome to attend. May They Rest in Peace

All Saints Day – Holy Day of Obligation

Friday November 1st – Masses at 10a.m. and 7p.m.

All Souls Day

Saturday November 2nd – There will be a Special Mass for All Souls at 10a.m.

November List of the Dead Envelopes:

The envelopes are available at the back of the Church. Please take one home with you, enclose your family dead list and return to the Post Box, Sacristy or Parish Office. All the names are included in all Masses on the First Friday throughout the year. ‘It is a Holy and Wholesome Thought to pray for the Dead.’

Do This in Memory Programme:

The next Mass for our First Holy Communion Families will be on Sunday 3rd November @ 11.30a.m.   A Meeting for co-ordinating group will take place on Tuesday 29th October @ 8p.m.  in the Church.

Family Mass Children’s Liturgy Group:     

Family Mass Children’s Liturgy Group takes place each Sunday at the 11.30a.m. Mass.  All children and their parents are welcome to this child-friendly service in the Day Chapel.

Planned Giving for Sunday 20th October was €990. Thank you for your generous support to the Parish.

Our Lady of the Rosary:

The month of October each year is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. This is because the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary  is celebrated on October 7th.  We encourage parishioners to pray this Powerful Prayer during October.  May our Lady’s Mantle cover our parish with all the Graces of her Son.

Clocks go back  on Saturday night 26th October.

Bank Holiday Mass Times

The mass for the Bank Holiday 28th October will be at 10a.m.

Alliance of the Two Hearts:

Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary takes place on Friday 1st November  commencing with Mass for All Saints Day at 7p.m. followed by Exposition,  Midnight Mass and Exposition again until 3a.m. Please join us for all or part of the Vigil.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place in the Day Chapel: 

  • Every Monday from 9.30a.m. to 12 noon.
  • Every Thursday from 7.00a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Every Friday from 9.30a.m. to 12 noon. All Welcome

Tea/Coffee 

All are welcome to Tea/Coffee every Wednesday after Mass in the Day Chapel.   Arising from this the Rosary will be prayed @ 8.45a.m. on Wednesday Morning.

Rush National School   

Cleaner Position:  Applications are invited for the position of part-time cleaner (10 hours per week)  in Rush National School.  Closing date for applications is 31st October 2019.  Please forward C.V. and cover letter to The Chairperson, Board of Management, Rush National School, Rush, Co. Dublin.  Commencement date of position is 18th November 2019.

Cash for Clobber: Wednesday 6tg November 2019, 8.30 – 10a.m.  All no longer loved, clothes, bags, shoes, belts and textiles wanted, should be brought to the school. NO pillows, duvets, blankets or toys, Thank You.

St. Maur’s Pipe Band

The Pipe Band will be holding their Annual Church Gate Collection next weekend Sat 2nd & Sun 3rd November. Your support would be very much appreciated.
