We wish them and their families a beautiful memorable journey as they prepare for the Sacrament on this first Mass of the ‘Do This In Memory Programme’. As you celebrate the start of your First Holy Communion journey today, remember that God’s Love will always be there to Comfort you, Guide you and Bless you.

Confirmation : ‘Led by the Spirit’

The Confirmation candidates will continue with the Confirmation programme ‘Led by the Spirit’ on Tuesday Oct 22nd . The Julian Prayer Group will discuss the Our Father: How to pray (Matthew 6: verses 5-15) with the Confirmation candidates.

World Mission Sunday

The Theme of this year’s World Mission Sunday appeal, ‘Together We are Mission’ is a message for everyone. We think that only priests & sisters, catechists & lay people that work with those in need, are called to mission – but through Baptism we all are. In his World Mission Sunday message, Pope Francis writes, “I am a mission, always; you are a mission, always; every Baptised man & woman is a mission.” At all Masses this weekend, the Mission appeal replaces the Share collection.

Family Mass Children’s Liturgy Group:

Family Mass Children’s Liturgy Group takes place each Sunday at the 11.30a.m. Mass. All children and their parents are welcome to this child-friendly service in the Day Chapel.

Our Lady of the Rosary:

The month of October each year is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. This is because the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated on October 7th. We encourage parishioners to pray this Powerful Prayer during October. May our Lady’s Mantle cover our parish with all the Graces of her Son.

November Mass of Remembrance:

Every year during November the Parish Community prays a special Mass in which we remember all our loved ones who have died since this time last year. The Mass will take place on Saturday 2nd November at 7p.m. Refreshments will be served after Mass. While Special Invitations will be issued shortly to each family, of course all are welcome to attend.
