First Holy Communion: Congratulations to the girls and boys from Rush National School who made their First Holy Communion this weekend.

 

Congratulations to all the sixth year students of St. Joseph’s Secondary School who celebrated their graduation Mass and Ceremony during the week in St. Maur’s Church. We wish them every success for their future. We include them in our prayers for their forthcoming exams. May the Holy Spirit guide them, and all our exam students with wisdom, guidance and peace in all their studies.

 

We Sympathise with the family of Margaret Kelly who died during the week. May she Rest In Peace.

A special word of thanks to Fr. Kevin for leading the prayers at the house and for making Patricia’s Funeral Mass such a beautiful celebration of her life. Remembrance Service: A Little Lifetime Foundation (ALLF) will hold a Blessing of Remembrance in Glasnevin Cemetery at the Old Angels Memory Garden on Sunday 26 May at 3.00pm. This special Blessing of Remembrance is for all parents, family members and friends who lost a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, cot death or died shortly after birth. This invitation is for all families who have lost a baby – we hope you will find some comfort in coming together to remember your baby in a special way.

 

Easter Dues & Offerings: Thanks to all who have contributed their Easter Due & Offering so far. The Easter Donations continue to be received in the coming weeks and we encourage each household to support our Parish by making their Easter donation.

 

May-Month of Mary: Rosary and Benediction will be prayed this Saturday after 7p.m. Mass. This weekend we also celebrate the birthday of St. Padre Pio.  Our Lady Queen of the May Pray for Us

 

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place in the Day Chapel:

  • Every Monday from 9.30a.m. to 12 noon.
  • Every Thursday from 7.00a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Every Friday from 9.30a.m. to 12 noon. All Welcome

 

Planned Giving for Sunday 19th May amounted to €1,315. Thank you for your generous support to the Parish.

 

Parish Safeguarding & Protection Training:

A one day Child Protection & Safeguarding Training day will take place here in the Church on Saturday 15th June. Further details to follow.

Temple Street Fundraising: Our parish secretary Claire is running the mini-marathon for raise funds for Temple Street Children’s hospital having experienced the wonderful work and care they offer to children and families.
