Farewell to Sacristan Billy Ryan who retires next weekend after over 60 years of service to St. Maur’s, Rush. We thank Billy for his generous service over the years and wish him every Blessing. After 7pm Mass on Saturday 3rd February we invite you to join us for refreshments in the Day Chapel to celebrate this special occasion. We look forward to seeing Billy as he continues to join us as a “retired” parishioner!

 

Baptism Celebration Mass: We look forward to a special gathering of all families who had their children baptised in 2017 at 11.30am Mass on Sunday 4th February 2018. All welcome!

Funerals in St. Maur’s: Each Tuesday from 3rd February to 6th March inclusive, Confirmation Retreats will take place in the Church from 9.45am-2.30pm. These dates involve much planning as they synchronise the timetables of our 4 primary schools, retreat team, coach hire, and Parish. On those dates, we ask that families be aware that the church will not be available for any other events, including funerals. We ask for your co-operation in arranging funerals on either Mondays or Wednesdays during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Every Thursday from 7am – 10pm.

 

Parish Office: Opening Hours: 9am – 11am, Mon – Fri. Any Daily Mass Intentions left in please also include phone number. Any Intentions for the weekend Masses need to be left into the office by 12 pm on Thursday to be included in the Altar list.

 

Planned Giving: Envelope Collection for Sunday 21st January amounted to €1820.Thank you for your generosity.

 

St. Maur’s Conference of Saint Vincent de Paul will hold its monthly collection at all Masses this weekend. The Conference very much appreciates your continued support.

World Day of the Sick takes place on Sunday 11th February 2018 (Feast of our Lady of Lourdes) with a Diocesan celebration in Crumlin Parish at 3 p.m. All Welcome!

Ewe Thina – We Walk God’s Way  Join other young adults (20’s & 30’s) once a month for reflective hikes around Dublin Area.  The next hike will be Sunday 28th January on the Bray to Greystones Coastal Trail.  We will meet 1pm Bray Dart station 

 

Cistercian Vocations Weekend: Cistercian monks and nuns are called to witness to God in a life of prayer, work, community and contemplation. We invite women who are considering God’s call to join us for the weekend to get to know more about the monastic way of life.  Friday 9th to Sunday 11th February 2018 at St Mary’s Abbey, Glencairn, Lismore, Co. Waterford.
