A happy and peaceful Christmas to all our Parishioners and to all who are visiting our Parish at this time.

 

 

Christmas Schedule

The Schedule is now posted in the Church, all homes should have received a timetable of the Christmas Mass and Ceremonies, these are available from the office if you need one.

 

 

Christmas Book of Remembrance:

Names of our loved ones who have gone before us are written in a special book which is placed on display upon the Altar steps throughout the 12 days of Christmas. These names will be remembered at all Masses over the Christmas Season. Please note that no individual names will be called out from the Altar on the Christmas Eve and Christmas morning Masses.

 

 

Christmas Family Masses:

Sunday 24th December at 6 pm including Our Do This in Memory Families. A second family mass will be celebrated on Christmas Morning at 11.30am.

 

 

Christmas Offerings:

Thank you to all those who contributed, these will be acknowledged in the New Year. Please remember to fill in your details on the envelope.

 

 

 Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament:

Every Thursday from 7 am – 10 pm and also every Sunday of Advent from 2 pm – 5 pm.

We Sympathise with the family of Nora (Norrie) Bollard who passed away this week. May she rest in peace.

 

 

Parish Office

 Opening Hours: 9 am – 11 am, Mon – Fri. The office will be closed from Monday 25th December to Tuesday 2nd January Inclusive. There will be no Parish Bulletin the weekend of Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st of December.

 

 

Planned Giving Collection:

Envelope Collection for Sunday 17th December amounted to €1500.Thank you for your generosity.

 

 

Enrolment for the Parish Schools:

Enrolment for the 3 parish schools ( Rush National School, St. Catherine’s National School and St. Brendan’s National School) will take place from Monday 8th January to Friday 19th January 2018 inclusive. Pre-enrolment application forms will be available from the schools’ office between the hours of 09.30 – 14.30.

 

 

Christmas Day Swim:

The Swim takes place at Rush Sailing Club at 11.30am. Proceeds in aid of Irish Cancer Society.

GOAL Christmas Mile

New Year’s Day at Skerries Rugby Club 12.30 pm.“I want to encourage everyone in the region to come out and join in the GOAL Mile fun over Christmas. Whether you are young or old, and no matter your level of fitness, it’s a great way to get some exercise over the festive season and help raise some money for GOAL’s programmes overseas. You can run, jog or walk the Mile – the choice is up to you. There is no need to register, just turn up on the day and donate what you can.” All are welcome and all ages can take part.
