Acknowledgment:

The family of the late Donal Bissett wish to acknowledge the many expressions of kindness shown to them following their sad loss. Heartfelt thanks to the many friends and neighbours who visited Graham and Audrey’s home, attended the wake, who travelled long distances, sent floral tributes and mass cards. A special word of thanks to the management, nurses and wonderful carers of the Nightingale Unit, Hamilton Park, Balrothery. To all who participated in the Mass, especially Fr Richard, Aisling Walsh and finally McNally’s Funeral Directors for their sensitive handling of arrangements. Donal, always in our thoughts, you will never be forgotten , RIP.

Archbishop Martin will celebrate Mass for the opening of the Academic Year Monday, 25th September at 7.30pm in Church of Our Lady Seat of Wisdom, DCU/St. Patrick’s Campus. Refreshments afterwards. All welcome.

Eileen Keelan,a local artist is having an Art Exhibition at Skerries Mills from this coming Monday, 25th Sept to the 8th of October. All welcome, admission free.  There will be 36 paintings on show. Opening time at The Mills is from 10am to 5.30pm daily

 

Days of Recollection

Mass of Thanksgiving: 

Bishop Raymond Field is hosting a Mass of Thanksgiving for his Pastoral Area on Sunday the 15th of October at 10.30am in St. Brigid’s Parish, Blanchardstown for couples who are celebrating Silver, Ruby, Golden, Diamond and Platinum Wedding Anniversaries.  Were you Married in 1947, 1957, 1967, 1977 or 1992? A celebratory certificate will be presented on the day along with hospitality.
