Child Safeguarding & Protection

All leaders or representatives of Parish Volunteer Groups are invited to a meeting in the Day Chapel on Monday March 27th at 7.30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to facilitate the distribution of Information, Guidelines and Invitation Forms relating to the new Garda Vetting Process. It is very important that a Representative of each group attends. Leaders or representatives will also be notified by email.

Children’s Liturgy

The Children’s Liturgy continues every Sunday until Easter. Children between the ages of 5 and 12 are very welcome to come along and join us for a Child friendly version of the Readings and Gospel in use each week, helping to give you a better understanding of what It is all about.

Funeral Team Training:

For those who left their name in and are interested in been on this team, there will be training in the church at 7.30 p.m. on Monday 20th March. If there is anybody else interested please leave your name into the office.

 

Anam Cara

Anam Cara North Dublin will launch our Information Pack next Tuesday 21st in the Carnegie Court Hotel, Swords at 11a.m. Please note that this event is not aimed at bereaved parents but rather is for those who may occasionally be working with bereaved families and would like information and resources so as to better support them.

 

 

Blessing of Graves:

The Blessing of Graves takes place on Sunday 25th June at 3p.m. in Whitestown and 6p.m. in Kenure.

 

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every Thursday from 7a.m. to 10p.m.& every Sunday of Lent from 2p.m. to 5p.m.

 

Parish Office:

All queries re: baptisms, weddings, etc. to go through the office. Confirmation medals and rosettes now available. Any Daily Mass Intentions left in please also include phone number. Any Intentions for weekend Masses need to be left into the office by 12p.m. on Thursday to be included in Altar list. New Post Box is located beside door to day chapel.

 

Planned Giving Envelope Collection:

The Envelope collection for Sunday March 12th h amounted to €1205. Thank you for your generosity.

 

CrossCare:

Please give us your support at all Masses this weekend. The annual collection for Crosscare Youth Services will be at all Masses this weekend March 18th/19th 2017. It will replace the normal Share collection. Crosscare provide a wide range of focused supports and programmes aimed at empowering people to achieve their own potential.

National Collection for World Meeting of families 2018:

Pope Francis has personally chosen Dublin to be the host diocese for the World Meeting of Families from 21-26 August 2018. Planning for this great national and international celebration of faith is well underway. Hosting this important event requires an enormous amount of planning and funding. In this regard a second national collection will be held 1st and 2nd April 2017. Your support for this collection would be greatly appreciated.
