Baptismal Celebratory Mass
We welcome the parents and families of all the children who were baptised in 2016 to our celebratory mass today at 11.30. We look forward to some light refreshments afterwards.
First Holy Communion
We remember the children from Rush National School who are making their first confession next Wednesday 8th February. We keep them in our prayers as they prepare for communion.
Tuesday 7th February, Olan Kelleher’s class from Rush National School have their retreat with
the Julian Group. We keep them in our prayers as they prepare for confirmation.
We extend our deepest sympathy to the family Rita Devoy who passed away this week. May she rest in peace.
The Family of Joseph(Joe) Weldon would like to express their sincere gratitude to all who attended his funeral as well as those who sent mass cards, flowers and kind messages of condolences. A special thank you to all family, friends and neighbours who helped out with everything, especially the Devine Family and Una. Thank you to Father Collins and Father Matt Knight, Aisling and Liam for the beautiful mass. Thank you to the Mater Hospital and staff. To Fitzgerald’s Funeral Directors for everything that made things a little easier at this very sad time. Apologies for anyone we have left out but your kindness and support will never be forgotten.

Anam Cara, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding its next monthly Parent Evening on Wednesday 15th February from 19.30 to 21.00 in B.A.S.E, Brackenstown Road, Swords, Co. Dublin. This event is open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether the death was recent or not.
