We remember the children from St. Brendan’s National School who are making their first confession on Monday 13th February and St. Catherine’s National School on Wednesday 15th February. We keep them in our prayers as they prepare for communion.

On this the month’s mind of the late Dolly Attley ( Flynn) , Paud & Patsy Flynn would like to express their deepest gratitude and appreciation to everyone who called to the house and attended her funeral, as well as all those who sent mass cards, floral tributes and kind messages of condolences. A special thanks to all the Staff of Rush Nursing Home and Dr Murray who cared for her over the past 11 years. Thanks also go to Fr Collins, the senior choir and the many Priests who attended her funeral mass. A mass will be said as a token of their sincere appreciation.

Reader Schedule
A New Schedule of Readers for the weekend Masses from 11/12 February 2017 to 01/04 April 2017 is now posted on the Parish Information Board.

All queries re: baptisms, weddings, etc. to go through the office. Opening Hours Mon- Fri 9a.m. – 11a.m. Any Daily Mass Intentions left in please also include phone number. Any Intentions for weekend Masses need to be left into the office by 12p.m. on Thursday to be included in Altar list. Please note new Post Box is located beside door to day chapel.
Children’s Liturgy
Children’s Liturgy resumes on Sunday 19th Feb.Children between the ages of 5 and 12 are very welcome to come along and join us for a Child-friendly version of the Readings and Gospel in use each week, helping to give you a better understanding of what It is all about. You come along to Mass as normal and sit with your Parents. The Priest will then invite you to join members of the team at the top of the Church. We then move into the Meeting room via the Sacristy and sit on cushions. We re-join the main Mass at the Offertory Procession.
The Children’s Liturgy team are looking for new volunteers. If you would like to become involved in working with our team, please leave your name and telephone number in the Parish office and we will contact you.
ACCORD:
The Annual Collection of ACCORD, The Diocesan Agency for Marriage and the Family, will be made at all Masses on the weekend of 18th and 19th February 2017. The Collection for ACCORD will replace the usual Share Collection. ACCORD Dublin throughout the diocese offers Marriage Preparation Courses, Counselling for couples and individuals experiencing difficulties in their relationships, a relationship and sexuality programme in schools. ACCORD needs your support. Please give generously on 18th/ 19th February.
Balbriggan and District Horticultural
Balbriggan and District Horticultural will have a garden talk on Composting and autumn vegetables by Dominica McDevitt (Head Gardener Ardgillan Castle) on Thursday the 16th February at 8.30pm in the Scouts den, Market Green, Balbriggan (beside Lidl). Admission €5.
