The group held another fundraising event on Friday June 10 th in the Strand Bar. They had a Music Night with two local bands and would like to thank Jackdaw and Pat Sheridan for giving up their time and providing a great night of music. They would also like to Thank Joe Sherman and staff of the Strand for providing the venue; to those who donated sport prizes and of course those who supported the event. The night raised a total of €470. To date they have had tremendous support from the Parish from the various events (Church Bake Sales, Pub Quiz, Music nights in the Theatre and Strand Bar), and from personal donations from parishioners. They would also like to thank Tesco Rush for their support.
