Divine Mercy Sunday 3rd April 2016

Divine Mercy Sunday will be celebrated in St. Maur’s Church commencing at 2pm led by John Delaney. There will be confessions, prayers and Holy Mass. Come and celebrate God’s infinite mercy on this special day.

 

St Peregrine Healing Mass

A Healing Mass in honour of St Peregrine, Patron Saint for cancer patients  will take place in St Patrick’s Church Skerries on Monday, 25th April & 7.30pm.The Sacrament of the Sick will be administered during Holy Mass, followed with a Blessing with the relic of St Peregrine. All
welcome.

 

Volunteer in Africa

Humanitarian Volunteers are looking for volunteers to travel to Kenya on 26 June 2016. The volunteers will work on a humanitarian project for two weeks. No experience required and no age restrictions. Supervision provided. Volunteers will also visit the resting place of the Venerable Edel Quinn. No large fundraising. Volunteers will pay their own costs. If you can assist teaching English, or assist with sports, games, arts, crafts or more,than you can make a real impact on the lives of the poorest and those without hope.

The Naul Gardening and Flower Club are having a Spring show on Sunday the 3rd April open from 2pm to 5.30pm.

ACCORD Dublin, Catholic Marriage Care Service

ACCORD Dublin, the Catholic Care Service are currently recruiting volunteers as Marriage andAccord
Relationship Counsellors and Marriage Preparation Facilitators to prepare couples for the Sacrament of Marriage.  Training will be provided for both roles through the Pontifical University in Maynooth.  Information evenings for Marriage Preparation Facilitators will take place on 5th April 2016 at 7:30 pm in ACCORD Harcourt St. 39 Harcourt St., Dublin, 2 and on 12th April 2016 at 7:30 pm in ACCORD Templeogue, 265 Templeogue Road, Dublin 16

World Youth Day

6 members of the Rush Youth Choir will travel to Krakow, Poland, August 2016, to represent St wyd-top-desktopMaur’s parish and join in celebrations for World Youth Day with His Holy Father, Pope Francis. The members will also partake in a ‘Leadership’ programme for young adults to learn how to be active and faith leaders with young people, which will be a wonderful asset for our parish. If you would like any further information, please go to their website.
Over the coming months we will have more fundraising projects going on and we would appreciate support in whatever way from all the community. The target is to raise €6000. To date they have raised €3300. Thank You for your support.

A special Thank You to all who baked or helped out at the Bake sale on Easter Sunday. €723 was raised. The next fundraising event the Youth Choir is hosting is a Variety Concert in the Millbank Theatre on Friday 8th April at 8p.m. Tickets are €8 for adults and €5 for children, or pay at the door. It will be a great night with music, singing, dancing and drama. Come along and join in the fun, everyone welcome!!
