Baptisms
We welcome Elia May Reidy to the parish. Preparation meeting for baptisms on 9th & 23rd August will be held on Wednesday 5th August at 7.30 pm. Deadline for August baptisms is Tuesday 4th August. Please note that godparents/sponsors must be baptised Catholics and over 16 years of age. See the parish website all information. No Baptisms in July. Bookings are now available for August.
Recently deceased
We extend our deepest sympathy to the families of Shirley Archer and Sarah Doyle who passed away recently. May they rest in peace.
Cemetery Sunday
The blessing of the graves will take place on the 28th June at 3pm Whitestown & 6pm Kenure. Blessed Memorial Candles are available in the parish office

Summer Schedule
There will be changes to our timetable here in Church during the months of July & August. The parish office will be open after mass only on Monday 23rd , 30th June & 7th July to facilitate Diocesan training for all parish staff.
Mass times on Saturdays in July
No Morning mass. Vigil mass will be at 7 p.m.
Church Cleaning
A very loyal group of parishioners clean the church on a Wednesday morning from 9.30 to 10.30. Extra help always welcome, if you are interested in giving a hand just for an hour each week or fortnight, please contact the parish office.

Parish Finance
All charity donation tax forms have now been distributed. If you believe that you should have received a form but have not, please contact Fiona in the Parish Office, 01-8949464. Please forward any completed forms to the Parish.
Gluten Free Hosts
Gluten Free Hosts will be available from the Eucharistic minister near the Tabernacle at the side of the altar.
Parking
The Parish Council ask parishioners to respect the disabled parking areas of the church grounds and to park in the designated areas. This is to leave enough room in the parking areas in case of emergency.
St. Vincent de Paul Monthly collection will take place at all masses next weekend 27/28 June.
Parish Office
Opening hours Monday to Thursday: 9-1 and Friday 11-1. Available at the office: Certs (€3). Mass cards (€5): Sympathy, Anniversary, Mass Bouquet, Mass Intention, Thank You, Birthday & Get Well. Communion & Confirmation cards are also available. We have a gift shop with beautiful communion missals, grave candles, children’s bibles, bookmarks, angel pins, rosary beads, bracelets, Padre Pio medals and scapulars.
Child Safeguarding
Many thanks to all who attended the Child Safeguarding Briefing last week. Updating of the mandatory Garda vetting process is currently underway for all who volunteer within our Parish. Completed Garda vetting forms to be returned to the Parish Office FAO Fr Peter O’Connor before the end of the month (30th June)
Day of Prayers and Condolence for victims of Berkeley Disaster to be held at Dublin’s Pro-Cathedral
A book of condolences will be available in the Pro-Cathedral on Sunday 21st June to permit the many people who will be in Dublin City Centre to express their sympathy and condolence.
Mass for the Protection of Human Life
Archbishop Diarmuid Martin will celebrate Holy Mass in St Saviour’s Parish, Dominic Street, Dublin 1. The Mass will take place on Saturday 4th July at 1.00 pm and will be offered for the protection of human life in all its stages.

Rush CTAS (Community Text Alert System)
After a positive follow up meeting with local Garda representatives a community text alert system was offered to Rush as ONE method to assist with crime.prevention.
