Confirmations:

Congratulations to the boys and girls from Rush National School who received the sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday from Bishop Ray Field. Thank you to Bishop Field for coming to the Parish to confer this special sacrament. Thank you to the teachers and staff of Rush N.S, the Parents and The Julian Group who together prepared these young people. Thank you to all who decorated the Church and who worked in so many other ways to make it a special Parish Celebration. Best of luck to the boys and girls from St. Brendan’s N.S and St. Catherine’s N.S who will make their confirmation on Friday 27th April.

40 days and nights of Adoration:

You may be aware that, starting on the 17th April and continuing until 26th May, there will be 40 days and nights of Adoration on top of Croagh Patrick in devotion to the nation. Our Lady Queen of Peace, Bray will dedicate 40 days and nights of prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament to coincide with the Vigil on Croagh Patrick. We wish to extend a warm welcome and invitation to all parishioners in our diocese to come and join us in Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray, starting Tuesday 17th April at 3pm until Saturday 26th May. Join us in prayer for the nation and Protection of Life.

 

Let’s Talk Family! Let’s Be Family:

We are running 6 sessions on Let’s Talk Family. Using engaging short videos to encourage discussion, it will offer us a time to think about our vision and hopes for family and marriage, and a chance to rediscover the gift that family is to the world. The programme will also challenge us to reflect on how we can provide greater support for marriage and family in our local communities. Our Last Session is on  Wednesday 25th April at 7:30pm in Day chapel.

 

Planned Giving Envelope Collection:

Envelope collection for Sunday 15th April amounted to €910. Thank you for your generosity.

 

Blessing of Graves:

The ceremony will take place on Sunday 24th June 2018, Whitestown Cemetery at 3pm and Kenure Cemetery at 6pm.

Keeping your Child Safe on Social Media

Local Author and Psychotherapist, Ann McCormack – keeping your child safe on social media – five easy steps – will provide a free talk, next Wednesday, 25th April 8pm in the bar at St. Maur’s, GAA Clubhouse. This talk is facilitated by Gaelscoil Ros Eó. Free admission and cuppa for all.

 

Mighty May Disco

With special guest Mr Bubbles, is on Monday 7th May, 3-5pm, St Maur’s GAA hall, tickets 5euro available at the door. Coffee and sweet shop. All proceeds for Gaelscoil Ros Eó.

The clinic will be held in St Maur’s GAA on Monday April 30th. From 4.30 – 8.00pm. Hoping to see everyone there.

Emmanuel 2018 Rescheduled Dates
