St Joseph’s Secondary School

To celebrate Catholic Schools week, students from St. Josephs will be participating in the 11.30 mass this Sunday. As we welcome them today we pray for all pupils and staff of St. Josephs that the Lord will bless and guide all the learning and growth of our young adults.
 
 
 

Feast of Presentation

During the week the crib will be taken down as we prepare for the feast of the Presentation. It is hard to believe that it will be soon 40 days since Christmas! We take the opportunity to thank those who erected the crib and who kept it looking so beautiful all this time.

February 2nd is also known as “Candlemas Day.” Blessing of candles will take place at mass on Thursday the second.

 
 
 

Baptismal Team

The team invite children baptised in 2016, along with their parents and family, to a special Celebratory Mass at 11.30am on Sunday 5th February. Personal invitations will be sent out this week.

 
 
 

Alliance of the Two Hearts

Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Friday 3 rd of February with Mass of the Sacred Heart at 8 o’clock. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will continue until midnight Mass at 12 O’Clock and recommence at mass until 3 am. There will be Rosary, Confession, Silent Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Nine Offices of the Sacred Heart, Divine Mercy chaplet. Please join us for all or part of the Vigil.
